Summer Camp 2025
The Nation’s Oldest Port Summer Camp at St. Augustine Lighthouse offers an exciting and enriching experience for children in grades 1st-4th, igniting their curiosity and fostering a love for exploration and learning. Spanning six weeks, each week is dedicated to a unique theme, led by experienced teachers who engage campers in STEAM activities, crafts, and educational adventures. Weekly field trips align with themes and enhance their learning experience, allowing campers to explore our rich history and natural wonders of St. Augustine.

Summer Camp: 9 a.m. – 4 .p.m. Daily
Drop Off Begins at 8:45 a.m.
* Camp can be purchased with or without daily lunches. Pizza lunch will be provided for all campers on Fridays.
Camp with Lunch per week- $295
Camp without Lunch per week – $250
The Museum’s Summer Camp is led by a certified teachers and camp counselors.
Campers learn and explore through hands-on activities and experiences based on state standards.
Purchase Includes: Weekly Field Trips, Backpack, Water Bottle, T-Shirt, Daily STEAM Activities, & Friday Pizza Lunch
Memberships
Museum Members will receive a $20.00 discount on camp purchases.

Week One: “Florida
Folklore”
June 3- 6
Discover the tales of the Nation’s Oldest Port through oral history with ghostly stories and mysterious legends. Hear the voices of the past and learn how they shaped St. Augustine today!
Week Two:
“From Sail to Steam”
June 9 – 13
Journey through maritime history as we explore the evolution from sailing ships to steam-powered vessels, with hands-on activities and stories of innovation on the high seas.
Week Three:
“Florida’s Forgotten Forts”
June 16 – 20
Step back in time to uncover the stories of St. Augustine’s historic forts and their role in shaping Florida’s past, with fun fort-building challenges.
Week Four:
“Cultural Crossroads”
June 23 – 27
Celebrate the diverse cultures that have influenced St. Augustine from Indigenous, Spanish, and African American heritage, through music, art, and interactive activities.
Week Five:
“Dive
Detectives”
July 7- 11
Become an underwater investigator! Explore maritime archaeology and uncover the secrets of shipwrecks and the artifacts hidden beneath the waves.
Week Six:
“Aquatic Adventures”
July 14 – 18
Dive into the world of Florida’s aquatic creatures, from manatees to sea turtles, with hands-on activities that teach conservation and the wonders of marine life.
*Disclaimer: “Week One Florida Folklore” is a four-day Summer Camp that explores ghost stories and supernatural legends, which may be spooky for younger audiences.*

Cancellation & Refund Policy St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum
We reserve the right to combine or cancel classes that have not met the minimum enrollment. Campers will be placed in an alternative class when possible. If St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum cancels a class, the payment will be fully refunded. No refunds will be granted on or after the first day of the camp session.
